Bob Donalds has spoken with me about this several times and he feels that it
is actually the fault of the stretch bolts used with the 2.1l rods (1.9l
doesn't use these kind of bolts).  They just keep stretching and over time
the big ends of the rods become oval (low oil pressure) and when they can't
stand it anymore they come out into the wide world to see what is going on
out here (I wish they would stay at home where they belong :).
