Dar, There is an '83-ish westy here in Seattle with a rotary conversion. It lives in the same condo complex as a friend of mine, so that's where I've seen it. I've never met the owner, or heard it run, but am planning to track him/her down.

Rotary engines are pretty compact & very light. Lighter than most Japanese inline 4's. And yes, lots of power, even without the turbo. I have not had any experience with the 2 rotor turbos (or any late model rotary at all), but sure do love that sound!

I also remember Kennedy having kit for those, don't I?
