Subject: '85 1.9 engine for sale in Seattle
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I just converted my '85 Westy to a Subaru engine. The original

engine is for sale: 165K miles, new heads by the PO at about 100K

miles. Does not leak water. Compression 160 - 170 PSI all

cylinders. One occasional sticky lifter which pumps up OK after

running a while. Oil consumption about a quart per 1000 miles or

less. This engine is complete with intake, exhaust, alternator and

engine compartment wiring harness and computer. The idle stabilizer

is new and worth $50 alone. Includes starter motor and LUK clutch with about 50% wear.

As-is, U-haul. Asking $650.00 or best offer.
