Subject: Only half of tank available
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

How would you explain that I have only half of the tank available.

No the gas level sensor is OK. When at the middle of the tank (30 liters or so), the fuel does not come out of the gas line when it is disconnected. But there is still 30 liters or so of gas in the tank!!!!

The tank was removed and checked for leaks previously to this phenomena. I found afterwards that the gas line inside the tank that goes to the bottom was disconnected from the output of the tank. This explained why I was having access to only half of the tank. But now the line is reconnected and the problem is not solved.

Any idea? Could some rust or scrap in the tank cause this problem?
