Check that the bowden cable has not popped loose from the door where it is supposed to be held in place, just behind the inside door handle.

Pop off the interior panel to see. The cable is held in place with a barrel-type nut sintching the cable into a slot in a tab welded to the door. You'll see. It's about 4- 6 inches behind the handle, if I recall. If it's popped out, the cable can't get enough tension, and the rear of the door can't open, hence the door will be stuck closed.

You really have to tighten the barrel nut down to hold it in place, or it will pop loose again. Ask me how I know. :-/

Good luck!
