FYI... There may be other diesel options in Europe,in fact I'm sure there probably is,but VW recently released the new Diesel TDI engine in Australia in the range of Transporters.No doubt other places too(other than the US it seems...)

It is a 5 Cyl 2.5 litre TDI with performance reputed to be comparable to the 5 Cyl petrol engine (which isn't bad - I know 'cos I drive one) The TDI replaces (at least in Oz)the 2.4 litre diesel engine which is good but typically sluggish and doesn't command the same resale value as that of the petrol engine.

6.3 l TDI? I'd like to see that! <g>
