Could this be the Slick 50 of the coolant industry ?

If these properties were that beneficial, then wouldn't the coolant manufacturers and car manufacturers specify it as a required ingredient in coolants ? Or maybe they already do and adding more is unnecessary. Or it could even be introducing undesirable properties at the same time.

I know nothing about these products, but am very skeptical after reading details on the flim-flam of the oil additive industry.

There may be a few anecdotal stories of no ill effects and perceived benefits but it doesn't prove anything. I have an 11 year old lawn mower that still has the original oil in it. Starts and runs well, only problem it's ever had was the starter rope spring broke. It's seen some very heavy use, including four years in South Florida (twice a week, 12 months per year). Do I recommend not changing oil in your mower ? Of course not. In my case, it's probably a case of subconsciously wishing it would die.
