Well, if you want to do this right:

1. New water pump and associated o-ring and gaskets 2. New thermostat and o-ring. 3. New exhaust system (if yours hasn't been replaced in a while) and gaskets. Six two hole and two three hole exhaust gaskets. New bolts and nuts too. 3.5 Intake manifold gaskets (might come with the engine). 4. Fuel injector o-rings, four large and four small. 5. New o-ring for distributor shaft. (Might as well, it will leak oil on top of your new engine if you leave the old one on.) 6. New Bosch Plus 4 spark plugs. 7. New rotor, cap, and wires. 8. New belt(s) 9. K&N air filter 10. New fuel lines and clamps (http://vanagain.com) 11. New vacuum lines 12. New coolant hoses, or at a minimum replace the two short hoses on the engine that connect the thermostat housing and water pump to the engine. 13. Long life Dexcool or Prestone orange coolant, 3 gallons. 14. Oil and filter. 15. New complete clutch if yours has over 50,000 miles on it, or at least a new disk.

Also, check that your throttle switches are set correctly to close at fully open and fully closed throttle.

That's all I can think of. Sorry, but it will be another $1000 or more to do all of this! -- Stuart MacMillan Seattle
