FWIW,

Last year I was in Sweden on business, and I noticed that some of the Volvo 850 wagons that were taxis had the TDI logo on the tailgate. They sounded just like my Passat TDI from outside, and the TDI badge was the same size and font as VW's. Maybe there is something going on there . . .

PS, When you don't need as much room as the vanagon or Caravelle (Eurovan) has, the Sharan TDI makes a superb taxi!
