Subject: coolant level sensor
Content-Type: text/plain

My sensor also leaked a few years ago and it eventually was making quite a mess in the tank area. I also thought that it wouldn't be leaking through the elec. contacts and looked for another source but after a while it was obvious. The dealer thought there was a pressure problem in the system but before they could figure it out the heads started leaking and I had the heads, sensor, and several other things fixed at the same time. I don't know if I believed the dealer about the pressure problem, may have just been a bad sensor.
