I wouldn't have a problem with the Tiico except I live in California and I don't think its smog approved. I'd have to cross my fingers and hoped the referee went along with it after spending all that money. And from what I heard, the real reason eurospec is no longer being offered is because not all of the smog referee's were passing it, that it wasn't truly smog legal.... Thats what I heard anyways.... but then they're not offering it in any form, and that includes the other 49 states.... In any case, to my understanding, an Audi 5 cylinder engine conversion can be explicity legal in California, following the guidelines of engine conversions.... So even if the Audi is more of a pain, and more expensive, at least I could drive it....
