Robert Now theres a thought: we bitch a lot about the possibility of head gaskets and bearing and thrown rods --- but how often do we compare the life of a wasserboxer with the life of mid 70s engines in the loafs --- theres a big difference isn't there --- which is note worthy when they're basically the same engine design albeit the cooling is different.
