Keep in mind that the term distilled water is applied to a lot of different liquids. The distilled water at the grocery store is a lot less pure than the best lab grade stuff. Some of the lab stuff is so pure that it comes with a warning label indicating that it is somewhat reactive, but I doubt the grocery store variety will eat up your cooling system.
