They used to make windex with vinegar in it - maybe you could use a vinegar
solution.... but I wouldn't keep it under the rear seat, might wrench your
back just getting it out.
Or if a self serve car wash is around, you could just spray the entire van
down with spot-free rinse.... That works for me.
Then too, if you'll know you'll be in a dusty area, like the oceanside or
offroad, you could always cover the front windsheild with saran wrap in
multiple layers and then just peel off one layer at a time.
