So if we find ourselves parked on a hill and we run dental floss from the
cap of the coolant tank to the front of the vanagon (keeping it level), and
we're more than a foot and a half above the place it would be were it on
level ground then we can burp our system.... and fill it to the brim....
Or we could just eyeball this from the front of van.
