I don't know about AutoZone, but Kragen carries Exide Batteries I think. We were doing a project with solar panels at work and we used a type 41 (funny how that happens). Went through about 15 batteries with no issues about trade in under warranty. Not the batteries fault, you just can't deep cycle them. So.. I now have a Exide in my Toyota PU and a Diehard in my 84 Vanagon. No problems with either one. tim o'brien
