They'll be comparable, if they're E-code: since E-code throws some light to the right to help you read road signs - I don't think the square vs road will make much difference in lighting the road - we're not making a movie for one, and for another, the cut off is on the top and bottom for the low beam - since our eyes are side to side and not one on top of the other, and were scanning the road side to side and not the skyline for UFOs, it shouldn't be a problem.
