Chris,

If your camper is the metallic blue of '86 - '88, I have this same color camper. I found a single stage polyurethane boat paint at West Marine called "Slate Blue" that approximates the factory blue used on the poptop. It's a bit lighter than stock, but looks pretty good with the metallic blue paint. I quart will allow you to give the poptop and luggage rack two coats each. It takes a while to dry, but is self-leveling. I used a brush with good results.

Or you can simply paint the top white.
