Subject:      flicker of Battery and O2 lights

Sometimes, and I can only see it at night, I see faint intermittent flickers
from the Alt. and O2 lights on the dash of my 85 westy. The flickers are
intermittent, do not seem to affected by speed or bumps and are very faint.
It looks like a sensor wire is grounding, but where and which one, or am I
in denial. My Wife will be taking this vehicle on a long trip soon, any
thoughts of possible imminent disasters?
