Subject: Airbrushing small paint flaws on my Vanagon?

I've heard about a company in the area who goes to dealerships with an airbrush and airbrushes out small flaws in the paint to make the paint job look a lot better.

My bergundy-colored van has a lot of small, white dings in the paint job... most smaller than the size of a BB, but some larger ones along the edges of the doors. Somehow, I've ended up with quite a few one the interior edges of the front doors, too.

I've got an airbrush and compressor, and I've fairly fearless about jumping in and trying something like this. I've got a couple of questions, though, and I'm hoping that perhaps someone else on the list has done this and could offer some advice:

1. Can regular automotive paint be thinned down enough to blow through an airbrush? I'd like to be able to use the exact paint that's on the car (and yep, I know that the color has changed slightly from age.)

2. If I can confine the spray to a very small space, will the finish eventually blend in when it has dried, and when I wax over it in the spring?
