Subject: Rain-x eats black rubber

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Rain-x, I have been using the stuff since 1985, but any newbies to the product should be aware that the synthetic polymer that is Rain-X corrodes black rubber seals like the ones holding on your window, and even the black rubber of your wipers. So be cautious to keep it away from the edges and chances are you wont need your wipers anyway if you use it all the time.

"Fruitlands" is name given to the region around Harvard Mass by early settlers. We dont live there any more, but I did when I chose fruitlands as a user name.
