The folks with whom I have communicated with in France & Belgium all said they have the same problem with the heads. I was looking to purchase an Oettinger Wasserboxer 6 until my contact warned me that the Oettingers are just as prone to the same problems as the VW Wasserboxer 4. After all it is just a flat 4 with two extra cylinders attached to the end.
