It's because this version of the listserv software does not properly handle the Sender: mail header field. It requires a fully specified address (daveb@cp.net) where as my mailer sends the just the username (which is sufficient as per RFC822. For those wondering how the internet 'works' look at http://www.ietf.org/rfc). At least that is why my mail requires forwarding (I haven't looked at the headers of other mail).

Basicly, we need to update the Listserv software. Tom gave L-soft a call and was working out a deal last week when I wrote him about that. So once he gets an upgrade price, I think we still need some $$$ to actually purchase it...

I can deal with a donation so that I'm not a cause of stress in Tom's life ;-)
