Hi Guys,

I just want to thank the many people who have already e-mailed me about
donating to the list fund.

Chris Smith has been the keeper of the Vanagon "kitty" for the past few
years, and is going to send me a check for the entire fund balance of
$558.54. That's enough money to pay for the upgrade, but it will drop the
fund balance to less than $40.

It's probably a good idea to replenish the fund. Chris has asked to be
relieved of the responsibility of the fund, so we will need a new neutral
3rd party to take that over.

If you are interested in being the keeper of the fund, please e-mail me
privately. If there are several volunteers, maybe we can set up a voting
site like the guys did for the stickers.

So hang on to your money and your great intentions for now, we'll ask for
the cash later on!
