It's a matter of business economics. The junkyard can afford to "giveaway" freebies because they have already factored that into their prices. In some cases, they've already figured that they can throw away some parts because the potential profit to be made from them have been compensated for by the price they get for other parts. There really isn't anything "free".

I'll be happy to discuss this via pmail to relieve the rest of the list of the burden of having to hit their delete keys.
