I seen that replacing the elaborate cooling hose set-up in a Vanagon runs
around $450. I've also seen that you may be able to get some generic matches
at NAPA or somewhere that are a close enough match for some of the hoses.


My question is that since I doubt that most of the Vanagons have had all
their hoses replaced ever, is there certain hoses that tend to fail more
than others in the system?


Or am I wrong and all the hoses have been replaced in a lot of Vanagons? Or
are they that good of hoses that after say 15 years they are still in good
shape?


Any hose leak emergency tips out there? : )
