Much thanks as I didn't understand that from the Bentley [don't tell my brother who's a consultant in electrical stuff].

The AC shop's problem is that the only way they can get the temp down on the AC is to have the fan on HIGH.

If it's not supposed to work this way maybe something else is wrong [their first guess was a bad expansion valve]
