P, Nope, nothing wrong. Just a mechanic who doesn't understand how difficult it is to get that sucker in correctly. Let the smell go away, fill it up again and see if you can sniff more gas, no gas smell, no problem. BTW - The rest of the hoses are easy to do.

There are no clamps on that crossover pipe. If you try and pull it apart, you will destroy it. It probably came off at the rubber gaskets going into the tank.If it came apart between the 'T's, it was defective.
