Subject:      If you remove the air conditioner...

The recent thread got me to wondering... If one removes the air conditioner unit, do you have to do anything special "ELECTRICALLY SPEAKING" other than just disconnecting the wires that are physically necessary to remove the unit? I mean, like the AC being tied to the cooling fan circuit. If you remove the AC, does the cooling fan still know how to act?
