That's cause the New River Gorge is not a town, it's a National Park. The closest town to the park headquarters is Fayetteville, WV. In the gorge, there are no places to camp, at least with a Vanagon or other vehicle, but there is a great whitewater river there. There are plenty of campgrounds in the area on the plateau above the gorge. Most of them are affiliated with a whitewater rafting company, but you don't have to raft to camp. But if you're there, why not ? The New River is running at a pretty decent level right now.

I don't know anything about the LIMBO event though.
