Maybe... many things come down to a choice... few things stand out as the only best choice...

The Carver is more expensive, takes up more storage space under the rear seat, and uses more power ... and the fan is probably noisier... But it may put out more heat... dunno...

The Plat Cat is less expensive... the guy did mention he didn't want to spend a lot... quieter, uses less power,,,, but will likely take up more floor space... unless you mount it as a portable, which you can and then take it out for summer camping...
