The problem is with air brushing, & spray cans is that the product has to be thinned too much to get it out of the can, or air brush, to offer enough coverage. To be able to wet sand and rub out the area in question, you have to put a couple of good coverage coats on it,prior to finishing. You would be sanding, and buffing through the paint in no time, using a spray can, or air brush. What should be used is a "deail" gun, so adequate material is layed on the damaged area.And you can mix the paint to the proper viscocity to get the proper coverage. They are pretty cheap,and will do one heck of a better job.
