You need a bed that pivots in space, side to side, and front to back... List vendors: come up with this and you might make some money...

The egyptians slept with their beds slightly slanted so the feet were lower and the head higher, than when level... but they didn't drive Vanagons. They did meet a few Germans during the fall of Rome though.

Park directly under a street light and you have'll both better security and a better chance you won't be bothered by police because you won't look like you have something to hide like when parked in some crevice of a dark street.
