Thats interesting - copper is very conductive - so I guess the distilled water is acting like an antioxidant.... and eats a hole in the copper in the process.... there's no copper in the vanagon cooling system.. right or wrong? - it comes into contact with aluminum, rubber and what else? whats the case made out of?

Some guy behind a VW parts counter (not the dealer) said distilled was better for the coolant system - now I don't know what to think.
