Subject: ALTERNATOR LIGHT
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi List,

I just replaced the alternator and the battery light on the dash, while in park and neutral only stays on. When in drive or reverse the light goes out and there is 13.5 volts at the battery & 14.5 volts at the alternator. Any ideas what may cause this condition???I also replaced the battery at the same time, so you can rule that out.
