Subject: 89 Temperature guage acting funky
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

It used to linger at about 1/2 way up the guage with normal driving, sometimes hotter when it got hotter, which is only natural for a temperature guage. THen I had my water pump replaced, and I think it worked after that, but some hoses still leaked and I took it in to have the guy get it all cookin just right. he tightened the hose, and since then the temp guage hardly moves. When it gets going it moves about a millimeter, but stays right at the "cold" line. First I figured that more pressure in the cooling system resulted in greater efficiency, and that it must be doing really great (duh). I've since moved so I cant take it back to the guy, stuck with my tools and any help you all can give me from your experience.

"Fruitlands" is name given to the region around Harvard Mass by early settlers. We dont live there any more, but I did when I chose fruitlands as a user name.
