Hey List,

I am responding to this subject as i purchased my 87 Wolfsburg Edition Vanagon w/ a little over 125,000 miles and a shot engine. Something w/ the oil pressure or lack of and the thing going kaputz on the Garden State Parkway. I wound up getting a rebuild from Fast German Auto, which is a service story in itself. That is all i know about it's past and that it is a-ok so far, except for a slight oil drip from near the main seal after about 5000+ miles on the rebuild.

Thanks,
