Look at Folbot, www.folbot.com, an excellent folding kayak. It has an open design so it has some canoe features. There are also US and Canadian folding canoes but the folding kayaks do better for most applications. I have two Folbots, a single & a double ( & severeral other kayaks) and they work well with a Westy. You can carry them assembled on a rack or inside in bags, good for security. 85 Westy, several kayaks, kids bicycles & other stuff....
