You cannot easily convert to a syncro. It is better to find an existing syncro and fix it up.

-----Original Message----- Subject: Non-westy to Syncro

I am looking for a a dead syncro to swap drivline parts into my Westy. I have a good condition Westy with a rebuild and would like to move the 4WD. Is this a good idea to try by myself? OR am i dreaming? Should I sell my Westy and get a Syncro Westy?

Thanks to the list, Riley Kettner 87 Westy
