Well isn't that just an indication that the coolant mix is more resistant to electrical current??? Once the water gets hotter would resistance go up or down? I forget... In any case, isn't the sensor just trying to get a reading of the coolant mix upon start up - and maybe, per another listee, you should try just turning the key without turning the engine, and leave it there until the light stops blinking and then turn over the engine. This listee said doing it this way, his light would stop blinking within 60 seconds, and would not go on while he was driving. His light was acting a little funky though, so maybe yours would go out much sooner - you'd have to time it and see.

Robert you never confessed to using redline water wetter until now....
