Subject: Pulling rear seat back
Content-Type: text/plain

Hi folks,

I want to remove the rear seat back in my 81 transporter and I am unable to see a simple means to get it out. The seat bottom comes of okay, but I would like to get the back off so I can throw a mattress back there when I need to. Is there something I am missing, or is it gonna be a real pain to take it out?

I am also curious if all the vanagons have the rear deck lower than the back seat when it is folded down. I saw one with a custom looking mattress on the rear deck that made up the height difference, but I don't know if they are all like that, or not. Just wondering.

Thanks for any ideas, and for all the good info that flies around here daily :)

I also think the Nissan ad is outrageous, and if we don't all start standing up for what is right and decent, its not gonna get any better any time soon.

Regards from Utah,

John
