Good morning, everyone.

The great people on this list have come to my aid before maybe, some of you can help this time around.

I am trying to locate the head light assembly for my 1987 Vanagon. The assembly I need is the high beam (inner) on the drivers side.

Maybe some one has a wrecked van and would be willing to sell me this part or knows some other place to try.

I have tried to locate one and the only ones I can find is new at over $100 bucks. If AT ALL POSSIBLE I would like to find a good used one. I have even checked on some of the VW sights and they don't seem to have any. A stone hit mine and put a small hole in mine.

By the way, in some of the information that I found while looking for a water hose they said that one hose was one price if the Van came factory equipped with a certain tire size and another (lower price) if it had the standard size tires from the factory. My question is, How do you know or find out? I just bought my Vanagon last March and any dealer papers are long gone. Before I can order a hose I need to know what to order.

Any help that any of you can offer on these two questions will be most appreciated.

Chris
