I have a leaking power steering rack.  The cost of a rebuild kit is far less
than the price of a rebuilt unit.  Is this the type of repair that can be
done by a careful amateur? Since the kits are available I assume that there
must be a number of list members who have done this work.  Your advice will
be appreciated.
