Subject: 90gl/82 westy... what to do?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, i am starting to feel like a broken record here with my two vans. i can not believe how incredibly hard it is to sell one of them up here in new york. they are both great vans and nobody wants them. so here is what i plan to do if possible. i would like to turn the 90 gl into a westy using the westy parts from the 82. is this possible? then i would sell off the 82 engine and tranny which are both in near perfect condition with recent rebuilds on both. sell the shell to a junk and be done with it. i do however need to rebuild the engine in the 90. so with all expenses and loses here incurred is this the smartest move or should i still focus on selling one or the other? i need to move on this quickly and have been trying to sell them all summer to no avail. the westy conversion is a major project i am sure. what details should i be aware of from anyone who may have done this? one last time before i start anything is anyone interested in a 82 westy ca van or a 90 gl? please give me some info, advice, guidance, kick in the a**, or just tell me to quit my whining and just do the conversion and be happy with a new 90 gl westy with a phatty rebuild. thanks jason 82 westy 90 gl _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
