this could get sticky as U-haul has a requirement that the lead vehicle is at least 700 lbs heavier than the towed vehicle+dolly no class 1 hitches either... I towed 2 home same day with my 85 quantum TD on a class 1 hitch with a uhaul dolly (I lied and told them that my motorhome was to tow the QTD and the class 1 was to just get the dolly home) anyway that was a short distance 15miles each 1 way and quite hairy.. having the dogs push the sled (like volvo's commercial in the 90's) but the x-terra should be stout if you keep it reasonable dan stevens syracuse NY

I've yet to tow one, and will be doing so next weekend. Thanks for any tips. Karl feel free to ask or advise. I listen as well as learn. |
