Front is pretty easy, I do my own. Rear can be more difficult and requires some knowlege of where the adjustments are. Some crappy tire shops will simply set the front toe and say that they did an alignment. I would go to a higher end shop and talk to them about how they would align a Vanagon. They should have a computerized aligning rack with a database of all the specifications and where the adjustments are found. When they are finished, they should hand you a printout of all the settings, before and after. Watch out for the response of any particular setting being "non-adjustable" or "inaccessable". This is a cop out. They are all accessable.
