I think bucking is a classic symptom of a lot of things. The AFM fix is probably the last thing it would be. Though I guess it does get worn out (especially if LOTS of driving at a constant speed). You can pop the top off it to give it a look. Investigating my bucking last week I took a look at mine and it had already been rebuilt (my van may have been pieced together). Anyway, what I found to fix the buck was that the temp sensor on the #3 head was loose. This caused the ECU to intermittently richen the mixture making the plugs miss and the vehicle to buck I suppose. Good luck, Christopher Darilek |
