All, I had a question inside of the Tranny email that got passed over. I hope that by asking again in its own email, I can get some replies... I have used high temp Permatex on my exhaust gaskets in my Van thinking I am doing something good. I seem to develop exhaust leaks every time. Does anyone else use this method and see the same thing? Should I just go ahead and clean the surfaces and go dry on the gasket and tighten down? Thank you for the replies.
