did you do this to your seam on your vanagon? is it really necessary? what
do you think of just taking the seam out and painting it? --- I mean how
would you prep this area for painting? I had my vanagon painted a few weeks
ago, and the paint over two of the seams didn't take too well, the paint
cracked over it... --- and I don't recall other cars having this type of
seam...
