I think I heard that the MTX is not that great on the snow, that LTX is good on the snow but is not the right load rating, and that the Michelin Agilis 61 is good on snow, is rated for M+S (like the LTX), and is the right load rating (unlike the LTX). How the MTX and Agilis would compare on dry pavement is something I have not heard - however the MTX is available in 205/70/14 while the Agilis is 185R14 (185/82/14), so you could get a wider tire with shorter side walls on the MTX... still don't know how they would compare on dry pavement in real life though.... >From: "W.
